A.S. Molina

b. 1989. American author.

I am fascinated by the extraordinary within the mundane. My curiosity and thoughts peak at the grocery store, in the line for fast food, or while in a waiting room. Thoughts flood me when cutting grass, walking the dog, or washing dishes. I reflect on life and its intricacies while deciding if I should discard the half-burnt birthday candles in the catch-all drawer, or if that Thank You card that I haven’t used in years is worth keeping. It is the remnants of cooking—the jalapeño seeds, the rejected parts of the tomato, the smeared cilantro on the cutting board—that get my attention.

I write to create relatable characters and stories that may entertain, invite quiet reflection, stir healthy emotions, and turn a small light onto uncharted corners of a reader’s psyche.
